I am back

Slowly...as I have so much to write and to update...but to begin with... some pictures

A nice sunset from my balcony

I adopted a new dog, I can't believe it, the neighbour wanted to abandon him, so hey another one.

He has been a joy to my other two old dogs .

It was a very good decision for everybody...more later

It's lovely to hear from you, Andrea. I was beginning to think you'd deserted this space - I'm glad you're back.

Hi Andy!! :-)

It is a long story, that perhaps I will just write here, so not to make it so public ;-)
I developed a terrible addiction to Yahoo Answers, especially to a category about Gender Studies, as it is a topic that interest me. But the place is so full of insulting people and misogynists. Don't ask me why I got so addicted to be insulted, strange indeed. I went into a deep depression, but the addiction continued, helping me procrastinate in important things, gosh I was giving myself unnecessary stress.
This has been a long process, as I have been aware of this addiction for some time now, but yesterday I made up my mind. I realized it is like smoking, if we have an addiction we have to stop it, period. So I am transferring my contacts to another account, and I will delete myself from Yahoo forever. End of addiction.
Why I got addicted to negativity? This opens more questions than answers to me. Now I have to update this blog and respond to so many friends. Perhaps the best way is to make an open update and I send the link, if not I would never be able to answer to everybody (lol).
I am happy to be back, and later I will visit you. Yes I miss bloging and some fantastic people I have met in here :-)

"See" you later

I’ve done that myself too – hidden something more personal in the comments rather than putting it on the front page for all the world to see.

It’s odd isn’t it how people will behave online in ways they wouldn’t dare when face to face. Before I started blogging I got very addicted to a climbing forum. Eventually I quit, partly because it was taking up so much time, partly because I got tired of the way personal attacks were ruining the feeling of community.

I think if you want to stop doing something, it really helps to fill the space with something else instead – so I hope this return to blogging works out for you.
